More Online Opportunities to Support AJHS! You may have noticed that the Amazon link on the school website now redirects you to the eScrip Online Mall. The Online Mall is a portal to a number of online stores, each of which will contribute a percentage of what you spend to our school without it costing you a penny. Please visit or click on the Escrip Button on the school website to complete a simple registration with eScrip to direct your contributions to AJHS and begin your online shopping at over 800 stores like Amazon (1.2%), Nordstrom (4.8%), Macy’s (4.2%), etc. (Many of you may already be registered with eScrip through your Vons’ registrations and should first try simply entering your email as an existing participant.)

Your Vons/eScrip contributions are being used for some special enrichment activities for your students this year. In March, we will be taking all three grades to PCPA in Santa Maria to see Peter and the Starcatcher. Also, the Lawrence Hall of Science from Berkeley will present dazzling assemblies for each grade. We continue to support Berney’s Book Bin and numerous classroom and grade level enrichment activities. Your ongoing support makes these activities possible.

The AJHS  Friday Night Live Club is doing a food drive for our  AJHS families for the holidays.  We are packing baskets with turkey dinner supplies.  We are asking for items such as canned veggies,  canned cranberries, dressing, canned or packaged gravy, boxed pie crust and pie fillers.  A box for these items is in the front office.  Please help make this holiday season a stomach filling one for our families.  Thank you.
