AJHS International Week
 has been wonderful! Thank you Leadership class and Mr.Talbert! 

Open House - Begins this Thursday, April 30, at 6:00 p.m. The  AJHS band and choir performance will be at 6:00pm in the gym. Classrooms open at 6:30 p.m. along with many other special events taking place that evening.

Open House Food Sales - There will be a "Bake Sale and Drinks". Proceeds will benefit the 6th grade at AJHS. 

Open House - Sylvester's $10 Cards will be for sale - Receive any 1/2 lb burger (or chicken substitute), fries and 1 drink. This is a fundraiser for AJHS Students. 

Open House - Big Brand Tire and Service - $25 donation & receive - Two visits for OIL & FILTER replacement and more services. You will also receive additional coupons with a total value of over $200. 100% of all proceeds goes straight back to AJHS Students.

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Parents.
It is time for the 7th and 8th grade students to take the SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) tests. These tests will be administered through the students' English and Math classes. Extended time is required for the completion of these tests; therefore, all 7th and 8th grade classes will be on a rotating block schedule from May 4th through May 21st. Fridays will be the typical six period day with an early release time of 1:50 p.m. The staff at AJHS is prepared for this change and will ensure our students are getting to the correct classes on the correct days. More information will be sent home tomorrow, April 30th through your student's Homeroom class.


The next PTO meeting has been rescheduled from the usual 2nd Tuesday of the month, to Tuesday May 26th.  We will be having PTO Board elections for next year. Please reply via email if you are interested in participating in planning PTO sponsored events such as dances, fundraisers, friendship-grams, field trips and more!  We would love to have some​ new board members next year. Contact PTO President, Terry Boche Parents, thank you for your amazing support of ​the ​ AJHS PTO this year!  

Attention 8th Grade Parents.
Save the Date: Promotion Party, June 5, 2015
Where: Ravine Water Park, Paso Robles
​Time: 2:00-6:00 p.m. on June 5, 2015
Cost: $20 Includes admission to the park and a food coupon.​

​Please note this event is NOT sponsored by AJHS or PTO. It is being organized by parents of the 8th Grade class. the Park is not opened​ to the general public that day and no siblings or friends that are not AJHS 8th graders are allowed to attend. The park will be fully under the supervision of the Ravine Water Park lifeguards and some parents, who are cleared with AUSD regarding Megan's Law
​  Also, parents must organize their child's own transportation to and from the park. THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL SPONSORED EVENT, therefore, THE DISTRICT IS NOT LIABLE.
